Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi A3 has a global score of 79.2, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 global score. The Xiaomi Mi A3 design is a bit thinner and lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, despite of the fact that it was released only 10 months before. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi A3 has a newer 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a slightly better display than Xiaomi Mi A3, because it has a bit bigger screen, a better pixel density and a much better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The Xiaomi Mi A3 features a superior memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has a SD extension slot that allows up to 256 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and Xiaomi Mi A3 both have quite similar processing units, and although the Xiaomi Mi A3 has a greater amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with improved battery life than Xiaomi Mi A3, because it has a 25% greater battery capacity.
Xiaomi Mi A3 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor shooting lower quality photographs and videos, and they both have the same resolution back camera and a same size aperture, the Xiaomi Mi A3 also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 video definition.
