Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Max has a general score of 77.5, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's overall score of 76.6. Despite of the fact Xiaomi Mi Max is notably older and just a bit heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's body is still thinner. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because it has a slightly better 1080 x 2340 resolution, a little bigger display and a bit higher display density. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels and a bigger aperture to take better images in poorly lited environments.
The Xiaomi Mi Max features a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has an external memory slot that supports up to 256 GB and 64 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features just a bit longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi Max, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity against 4850mAh.
