Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, getting an 88.9 score against 76.6. Although it's the best in this comparison review, we must tell that it's also a somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone. Both phones in our current comparison have the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding that.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a higher amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features just a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a larger screen and a better 2088 x 2250 resolution.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a much greater storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, although it has a way tinier camera sensor capturing much lower quality videos and photos, a back camera with a much worse resolution, a much lower 1920x1080 video resolution and a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light images.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has improved battery performance than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity against 4050mAh.
