Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, getting a score of 76.6 against 75.7. Although it's the best we are comparing, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is an extremely older, just a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little larger screen. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a much faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a bit bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low light captures, it also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor, a camera in the back with a higher resolution and a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro both have extremely similar batteries duration, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
