Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, with a general score of 76.6 against 75.8. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 design is notably newer, but a bit thicker and just a bit heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Both phones in this comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has the older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a screen that's just as good as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's display, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a little smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of display.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a way better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a much better 48 MP resolution camera and a larger aperture for better photos and videos in low-light situations.
