Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with a score of 77.2 against 76.6. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is an older device than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but Xiaomi managed to build it a little bit thinner and just a little lighter. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has the newer 8.1 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10, so it provides the user some extra features.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a quite smaller display and a bit lower 1080 x 2280 resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of screen. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a slightly better memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro also has a SD card slot that allows up to 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because it has a 26% bigger battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a larger aperture for better images and video in low-light environments, a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a way higher image and video quality and a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
