The iPhone 8 Plus is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, getting an 87.1 score against 79. IPhone 8 Plus is an incredibly older phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but it's just a little bit lighter and thinner anyway. Apple iPhone 8 Plus features a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has 2 lesser cores and lesser RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits processor.
The Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, it also counts with a little bit better pixels quantity per inch of screen. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S takes much clearer videos and photos than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has worse video frame rate, and they both have the same diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a camera with a way better 48 megapixels resolution and a way larger camera sensor shooting way higher quality pictures.
The iPhone 8 Plus features a better storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a way better battery duration than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Apple iPhone 8 Plus, else you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, giving up a couple features and specs.
