Comparison review
Google Pixel 4a has a score of 82.9, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's 79 score. Even though the Google Pixel 4a and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S were released only a few months apart, the Google Pixel 4a is just a little bit thinner and lighter. Both phones in our current comparison have the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that.
Google Pixel 4a features just a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px, it also counts with a just a bit higher display density. Google Pixel 4a and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S both feature similar CPUs, and although the Google Pixel 4a has more RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot better quality photographs and videos and a camera with lot more MP.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a bigger memory to install applications and games than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a way better battery duration than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 60% larger battery size.
Although Google Pixel 4a is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Google Pixel 4a, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, letting go some features and specs.
