The Google Pixel 5 is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, with a general score of 89 against 79. Google Pixel 5's body is much lighter and somewhat thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, although both were released with only 6 months difference. Google Pixel 5 counts with a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a bit higher number of pixels in each inch of display.

Although Google Pixel 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
