Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a global score of 79, which is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 10's 78.9 global score. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's construction is way newer, but somewhat heavier and just a little thicker than the Huawei Mate 10. Both devices in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a more recent 11 version while Huawei Mate 10 has Android 10.
Huawei Mate 10's processing unit is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S one, both of them have a Octa-Core processor and 4 GB of RAM. The Huawei Mate 10 has a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a greater pixels density.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a better camera than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs in low light environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a lot higher resolution camera in the back and a lot bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with slightly more memory for apps and games than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with superior battery life than Huawei Mate 10, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a better device, it is a little more expensive than the Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei Mate 10. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Huawei Mate 10, giving up some specifications.
