Comparison review
LG Velvet is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, getting an 87.1 score against 79. LG Velvet's construction is thinner and lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, even though they were released with only a couple of months difference. The LG Velvet features a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because it has a quite bigger display, a bit greater display density and a slightly better 1080 x 2460 resolution.
LG Velvet has a very superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because it has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. LG Velvet counts with a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG Velvet also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a bit better camera than LG Velvet. Both have a same size back-facing camera sensor, a same resolution back camera, a F1.8 aperture, the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features improved battery duration than LG Velvet, because it has a 17 percent greater battery capacity.
LG Velvet is a bit more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
