Comparison review
Nokia XR20 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, having a score of 80.8 against 79. The Nokia XR20 is a newer phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but it is a lot heavier and thicker. Both devices in this comparison review come with the same Android 11 OS, so both should provide the same operating system features.
Nokia XR20 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. Both of them have a screen of the same size, exactly the same 1080 x 2400px resolution and the same number of pixels in each display inch. The Nokia XR20 has a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB, the Nokia XR20 also has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has just a bit better hardware performance than Nokia XR20, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Nokia XR20, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture and a same resolution back-facing camera, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking better quality videos and pictures and a much better video quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Nokia XR20, because it has an 8% greater battery size.
Although Nokia XR20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Nokia XR20, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, resigning some specifications.
