Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a general score of 79, which is just a bit better than OnePlus 8 Pro's overall score of 77.2. Despite being the best phone in our current comparison, it must be noted that it is also a just a bit heavier and a little bit thicker phone. The OnePlus 8 Pro features a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
OnePlus 8 Pro has a much sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because it has a higher number of pixels per display inch, a little larger display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3168px. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a greater storage to install applications and games than OnePlus 8 Pro, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The OnePlus 8 Pro has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have the same aperture, the same resolution back camera and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has higher 60 fps video frame rates and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a lot better image and video quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with just a little better battery performance than OnePlus 8 Pro, because it has an 11 percent more battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is also by far the cheapest.
