Galaxy A30 is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, getting a global score of 79.6 against 79. The Galaxy A30 body is thinner and incredibly lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, although it was released only 13 months before. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a little better performance than Galaxy A30. They have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
Samsung Galaxy A30 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S feature extremely similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy A30 has a little smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of display.
