Comparison review
Galaxy A40 has a global score of 79.6, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's general score of 79. Even though the Galaxy A40 is older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, it's design is thinner and extremely lighter. Both phones in this comparison have the same Android 11 operating system, so they should give you all the same operating system features.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy A40. Both have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores. Galaxy A40 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch.
Galaxy A40 has as much storage capacity for applications and games as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, they have the same internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy A40, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
