Comparison review
The Galaxy A71 has an overall score of 87.5, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's 79 score. Both phones in our current comparison come with the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any differences in that aspect. Although Galaxy A71 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S were released only a few months apart, Galaxy A71 is somewhat lighter and thinner.
The Samsung Galaxy A71's processing unit is very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's processing unit, and although the Samsung Galaxy A71 has a higher amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and Galaxy A71 count with quite similar screens, they have a same size screen, the same number of pixels per inch in the screen and exactly the same 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.
The Galaxy A71 counts with a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy A71 also has a larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back facing camera with lot more MP.
The Galaxy A71 counts with much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB, the Galaxy A71 also has more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy A71, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A71 is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
