Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has a general score of 85.2, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's 79 overall score. Although Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, it's design is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) count with extremely similar displays, although the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels, a just a little worse pixel amount in each display inch and a little smaller display.
The Galaxy A9 (2018)'s processing unit is very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S one, and although the Galaxy A9 (2018) has more RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A9 (2018), because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a much better resolution back camera and a lot bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) also has 128 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.
