Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Fold is way better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, getting a 97.6 score against 79. Although the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S were released only a couple of months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Fold construction is way heavier but way thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. Both devices we are comparing work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Fold has newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has Android 11 version, so it gives you lots of additional features and better performance.
The Galaxy Fold features a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy Fold also has a greater amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Fold features a display that is very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's screen, because although the Samsung Galaxy Fold has a just a bit worse pixels density, it also counts with a bit higher 1536 x 2152 resolution and a little larger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold features a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S takes much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and videos and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a much larger camera sensor shooting much better quality videos and photos and a camera in the back with a way higher 48 mega pixels resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a little better battery duration than Galaxy Fold, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Fold, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, letting go a couple features and specifications.
