Samsung Galaxy M30 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, getting a general score of 82.4 against 79. Even though the Samsung Galaxy M30 is older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, it's construction is lighter and a little bit thinner. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy M30 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has Android 11 version, giving some nice extra features.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M30, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Galaxy M30 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S feature similar displays, because although the Galaxy M30 has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better pixels density.

The Galaxy M30 has a way bigger storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy M30 also has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy M30 counts with a battery life that's very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's battery performance, although the Galaxy M30 has a 0% smaller battery size.
