Comparison review
Galaxy M40 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, getting a general score of 85 against 79. Galaxy M40's construction is lighter and thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, even though it was released around 10 months before. Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy M40 has an older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has Android 11 version.
Galaxy M40 has a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2340px resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater display pixel density. The Galaxy M40 has a much better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy M40 also has 64 GB more internal storage.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M40, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
