Comparison review
Galaxy Note Fan Edition is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, getting an 80.4 score against 79. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy Note Fan Edition is older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, it's body is thinner and extremely lighter. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition both have really similar processors, both have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a greater amount of pixels per inch in the display. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features just a bit bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity against 3200mAh. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for taking pictures or video in low light situations, and they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a way more megapixels back-facing camera and a bigger sensor providing a better image quality.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
