Comparison review
The Galaxy S20 has a general score of 94.8, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's global score of 79. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but the Galaxy S20 has a more recent 13 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has Android 11 version, giving you some nice extra features and improved performance. Although Galaxy S20 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S were released only 1 months apart, Galaxy S20 is somewhat thinner and way lighter.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 features a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better pixel count per inch in the display and a higher 1440 x 3200 resolution. The Galaxy S20 features a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1000 GB and 64 GB more internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S20, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy S20, because although it has a tinier sensor capturing worse quality videos and photos, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and a F1.8 aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with faster video frame rates and a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.
Although Samsung Galaxy S20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S20, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, resigning some features and specs.
