Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a bit better than the Galaxy S4, getting a 79 score against 79. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is noticeably newer than the Galaxy S4, it's much heavier and somewhat thicker. Both devices in this review have Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has the newer 11 version while Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4, providing some nice extra features and optimized performance.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy S4 features a better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080px resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit greater screen density.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a larger camera aperture, a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a much larger camera sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photos and a back camera with much more mega pixels. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a much longer battery duration than Galaxy S4, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S4. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy S4, giving up some specifications.
