Comparison review
The Galaxy S5 has a general score of 80.8, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's general score of 79. Despite of the fact that Galaxy S5 is noticeably older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, it's body is a little thinner and notably lighter. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S5 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has Android 11.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a much more vibrant display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a way smaller display, it also counts with a better display density. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a much greater memory for apps and games than Galaxy S5, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and less processing cores (although faster), it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a much better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera, a larger aperture for better low light photography and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot higher quality photos.
Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy S5, else you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, resigning a couple specifications.
