Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 Active has a score of 81.9, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's general score of 79. The Galaxy S8 Active is an extremely older and somewhat thicker phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but Samsung was able to make it a bit lighter anyway. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a brighter screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2960px resolution and a greater pixels number per inch in the display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a little bit better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and the Galaxy S8 Active both have similar CPUs, they have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because it has a 26% greater battery size. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light photos, and they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor and a much more megapixels camera in the back.
In addition to being the best phone in our comparison, Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is also cheaper than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S.
