Comparison review
The Galaxy XCover Pro is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, getting an 81 score against 79. Both devices we compare here include the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding OS features. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Galaxy XCover Pro's construction is just a little bit heavier and thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro count with quite similar CPUs, both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount. The Galaxy XCover Pro has just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px, it also counts with a little higher pixel density.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro's memory for games and applications is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S one, both have the same internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S captures much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a camera in the back with a lot better 48 megapixels resolution, a much larger sensor and a lot higher (4K) video quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features greater battery life than Galaxy XCover Pro, because it has a 24% larger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, else you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, giving up a couple features and specs.
