Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a general score of 94.6, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's 79 global score. Galaxy Z Fold 2's construction is way thinner but a lot heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and both were released only a couple months apart. Both of these phones have the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any difference in that aspect.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a bit lower screen pixels density, it also counts with a higher 1768 x 2208 pixels resolution and a quite larger screen.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S captures better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rate and a smaller back camera sensor providing a worse image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and a F1.8 aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a way more mega pixels back facing camera.

So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, letting go some features and specs.
