Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's 79 global score. Even being the best in this review, Xperia XZ2 Premium's construction is older, extremely thicker and somewhat heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a lot better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better pixel amount per inch of display and a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a bit more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S shoots better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a same size aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a bigger sensor which provides a better photo and video quality and a much more MP back camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a much longer battery life than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, letting go a couple features and specifications.
