Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, getting a 79 score against 75.9. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S works with Android 11 OS, while Xiaomi Mi 8 SE has Android OS. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S construction is newer, but heavier and somewhat thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little smaller screen and a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2244, it also counts with a little better screen pixels density. The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE's CPU is just as good as the CPU in Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE has a larger amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a very superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking way higher quality videos and photos, a lot more MP back-facing camera and a larger aperture.
