Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi A3 has a global score of 79.2, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's global score of 79. Even when Xiaomi Mi A3 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S were only released with a couple months difference, Xiaomi Mi A3 is just a little thinner and lighter. Both of these devices work with the same Android 11 OS (Operating System).
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi A3, because it has a quite larger screen, a higher pixel amount in each inch in the display and a much better 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The Xiaomi Mi A3 has a greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi A3. They have 8 cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S takes just a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi A3, and although they both have the same video frame rate, a F1.8 camera aperture, the same resolution back-facing camera and the same (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has improved battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi A3, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
