Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Max, having a 79 score against 77.5. Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is much newer than the Xiaomi Mi Max, it is a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because it has a just a little greater pixels number per inch in the display, a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a quite larger display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features just a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max. They have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S shoots much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a larger diafragm aperture and a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels.
The Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a bigger storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits 256 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has just a little better battery life than Xiaomi Mi Max, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity against 4850mAh.
