The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S design is much newer and a little bit lighter, but somewhat thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a slightly better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400, a bit larger screen and a quite higher pixel density.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM amount. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S captures greater videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a lot more MP camera, a lot larger back camera sensor taking much better quality videos and photographs and a larger camera aperture to take better low light photography.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a little bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with more internal storage. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because it has a 6% more battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone in our current comparison, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is also a bargain compared to others.
