Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, with a score of 79 against 76.2. Both phones we are comparing use Android OS, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has 11 version and Xiaomi Mi MIX has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's construction weights the same than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, but it's thicker.
Xiaomi Mi MIX counts with just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, although it has a little smaller screen, a quite lower pixel density and a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2040px. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a higher number of cores (although they are slower).
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a bit superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has a 14 percent more battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S captures much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a larger camera aperture to capture better images and videos in low-light environments, a way more megapixels back-facing camera and a way larger back camera sensor shooting lot better quality photos and videos.
In addition to being the best phone in our current comparison, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is also by far the cheapest one, making it a no doubt choice.
