The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a global score of 79, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2's 76 global score. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has the older 11 version while Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's design is incredibly newer than Xiaomi Mi Note 2's, but it is incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores.
