Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, getting a 79 score against 75.7. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's construction is extremely older, somewhat heavier and thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has the older 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features an extremely better processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. Both of them have a higher pixel count per inch in the display, the same resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a screen with the same size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a quite bigger memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light images, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a much bigger back camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a higher 50 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S both count with similar battery performance, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has just 5000mAh of battery size against 5020mAh.
