The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, getting an 81.1 score against 79. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro body has the same weight and thickness than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has the previous 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has Android 11 version.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a display that's just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S one, both have a display with the same size, a greater amount of pixels per inch of display and the same resolution of 1080 x 2400px.

Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a better device, it costs more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
