Comparison review
The Galaxy A50 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, getting a global score of 83.8 against 83. The Galaxy A50 design is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, even though it was released a little bit more than a year before. Galaxy A50 features a screen that's just as good as the display in Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, because although the Galaxy A50 has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a quite better pixels amount in each inch of screen.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 counts with a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has 64 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has a bit better processing power than Galaxy A50. Both have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM amount.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a lot higher photo and video quality, a camera with a lot better 48 megapixels resolution and a much higher (4K) video definition.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T features longer battery duration than Galaxy A50, because it has a 25 percent larger battery size.
