Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 has a general score of 85, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T's 83 general score. Galaxy M40 is an older phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, but Samsung was able to build it lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. These phones use the same Android 10 OS. The Galaxy M40 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T feature extremely similar displays, because although the Galaxy M40 has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a quite greater screen pixel density.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy M40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Galaxy M40 has much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy M40 also has 128 GB internal storage.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T also counts with a lot more MP back facing camera and a way bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 43 percent greater battery capacity.
