Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, with a general score of 83 against 83. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has Android 10 version. The Galaxy Note8 body is a bit lighter and just a little thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, although it was released many years before.

Galaxy Note8 features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better screen density and a better 1440 x 2960px resolution. The Galaxy Note8's CPU is very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T's processing unit, and although the Galaxy Note8 has 2 GB more RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T features a slightly better storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T captures better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T also counts with a much bigger sensor taking much higher quality videos and photos and a much better resolution camera in the back.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has a really longer battery performance than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh.
