Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T is a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z5, with an 83 score against 77.6. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has a more recent 10 version and Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version, so it provides the user some additional features and a performance increase. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T construction is way newer, but thicker and incredibly heavier than Sony Xperia Z5.
The Xperia Z5 features a better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, because although it has a much smaller display and a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a quite better display pixel density. The Xperia Z5 features a processor that is just as good as the processor in Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, because although the Xperia Z5 has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, it also counts with an additional GPU.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T counts with a way better battery duration than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T features a little bit better camera than Xperia Z5, and although they both have the same video definition, the same aperture and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T also has a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a back facing camera with lot more MP.
