Comparison review
The Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is a lot better than Xiaomi Redmi Note's global score of 63.2. The Huawei P40 design is newer, somewhat thinner and lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 has the previous 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note has Android 4.4.2 version.
Huawei P40 has a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei P40 also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei P40 has a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because it has a bit bigger screen, a lot better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a lot greater count of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Huawei P40 has a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Huawei P40 counts with better battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because it has a 19% greater battery size.
Huawei P40 captures greater photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because it has a larger aperture to capture better low light photos and videos, a much higher (4K) video quality and a camera in the back with a way better resolution.
Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Huawei P40 is also the cheapest, which makes it a very good choice.
