Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note's general score of 65.4. The Huawei P40 is a way newer phone, and it's also somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei P40 has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note has Android 4.4.2 version.
Huawei P40 features just a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because it has a little larger screen, a much better count of pixels per inch of screen and a lot better 1080 x 2340 resolution. The Huawei P40 has just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P40 also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory.
Huawei P40 takes much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because it has a bigger aperture to capture better low light images, a back facing camera with a way higher resolution and a much higher 3840x2160 video quality. The Huawei P40 has a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 120 GB more internal storage.
Huawei P40 features improved battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity.
