Galaxy Note II is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note, getting a 71.9 score against 65.4. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Galaxy Note II has the previous 4.1 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note has Android 4.4.2. The Galaxy Note II design has the same thickness than Xiaomi Redmi Note, but it is a little bit lighter.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note features a little bit better display than Galaxy Note II. Both have a display of the same size, the same display density and the same resolution of 1280 x 720px. Xiaomi Redmi Note has a bit better CPU than Galaxy Note II, because although it has a worse GPU running at 650 megahertz, and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Xiaomi Redmi Note also counts with a greater number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II counts with a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because it has more internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that supports up to 64 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note captures a lot better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note II, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note also has a lot higher 13 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note features a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Note II, because it has a 3 percent more battery capacity.
