Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's construction is much newer, extremely lighter and just a little thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note. Both phones in this comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Xiaomi Redmi Note has Android 4.4.2.
