The Galaxy Note Edge is way better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note, with a overall score of 81.7 against 63.7. Both devices in this comparison review use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note Edge has a newer 5.0 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note has Android 4.4.2 version, providing you some additional features. Although the Galaxy Note Edge and the Xiaomi Redmi Note were released only a couple of months apart, the Galaxy Note Edge is thinner and lighter.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a superior performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also has an additional graphics processor and a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy Note Edge has a much better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because it has a lot higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen, a much better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a little larger display.
Galaxy Note Edge has a lot bigger memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because it has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB and 24 GB more internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge captures just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note, and although they both have a F2.2 diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also has a camera with a better 16 megapixels resolution and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Xiaomi Redmi Note has a bit superior battery life than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge costs exactly the same than the Xiaomi Redmi Note, making it an easy decision.
