Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S III is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note, getting a score of 70 against 63.7. The Samsung Galaxy S III construction is lighter and a little bit thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note, despite of the fact that it was released around 22 months before. These phones come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S III has older 4.3 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note has Android 4.4.2 version.
Samsung Galaxy S III has just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because although it has a lower number of cores and also slower, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and more RAM. The Galaxy S III features a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1280 x 720 resolution, the Galaxy S III also counts with a quite higher amount of pixels per display inch.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note also has a lot more mega pixels back-facing camera and a bigger aperture to take better low-light captures.
The Galaxy S III counts with a much greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note, because it has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB and 16 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note has a really longer battery duration than Galaxy S III, because it has a 3200mAh battery size instead of 2100mAh.
