The iPhone 12 is way better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, getting a general score of 88.7 against 72.1. The iPhone 12 counts with iOS 15.x operating system, and Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The iPhone 12 design is incredibly newer and just a bit thinner, but just a little heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1.
IPhone 12 counts with a much better performing CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has an inferior number of cores , and they both have 4 GB of RAM, the iPhone 12 also counts with a 64-bits processor. IPhone 12 has an incredibly better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a little larger screen, a much better pixels number per display inch and a way better resolution of 1170 x 2532 pixels.
Apple iPhone 12 has a better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has a less mega pixels back facing camera, it also counts with a lot better (4K) video quality and a lot bigger camera aperture. The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Apple iPhone 12, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Y1 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 128 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than iPhone 12, because it has a 9 percent larger battery size.
Although iPhone 12 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Y1. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the iPhone 12, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, resigning some features and specs.
