The Apple iPhone 6 Plus has an overall score of 75.3, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Y1's 72.1 general score. Although the Apple iPhone 6 Plus is older and heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, it's design is still just a little bit thinner. Apple iPhone 6 Plus counts with iOS 8.x OS, while Xiaomi Redmi Y1 counts with Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The iPhone 6 Plus has a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and a lower number of 1400 MHz cores, it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and a graphics co-processor. IPhone 6 Plus features a much more vibrant display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have a same size display, the iPhone 6 Plus also has a way higher 1920 x 1080 resolution and a lot better amount of pixels per inch of display.

Xiaomi Redmi Y1 and iPhone 6 Plus feature incredibly similar cameras, and although the iPhone 6 Plus has a camera in the back with lot less megapixels resolution and a worse 1920x1080 video quality, they both have the same aperture.
Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has a bit superior battery lifetime than iPhone 6 Plus, because it has 3080mAh of battery capacity instead of 2915mAh.
Apple iPhone 6 Plus costs exactly the same than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, which makes this phone a simple decision.
