Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, with a 77.1 score against 72.1. Asus ROG Phone is a newer device than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, although it's much heavier and thicker. The Asus ROG Phone has a much more vibrant display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2160px, a much higher pixel count per inch in the screen and a little bit larger screen.
Asus ROG Phone features a very superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Asus ROG Phone counts with a greater hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 captures much clearer videos and photos than Asus ROG Phone, although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light photography and videos and slower video frame rates, they both have the same video quality. Asus ROG Phone features longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3080mAh.
Although Asus ROG Phone is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Y1. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Asus ROG Phone, else you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, giving up a couple features and specifications.
