Google Pixel 4 XL has a global score of 82.9, which is better than Xiaomi Redmi Y1's 72.1 overall score. Even though Google Pixel 4 XL is newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, it is a little bit thicker and a lot heavier. Google Pixel 4 XL features a more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Google Pixel 4 XL also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Google Pixel 4 XL counts with an incredibly better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 3040px, a much greater display pixels density and a bit larger screen. The Google Pixel 4 XL features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has a back camera with a lower 12.2 MP resolution, it also counts with a lot bigger camera aperture for better low-light images and video and a lot better 3840x2160 video definition.
The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 counts with a very superior storage for games and applications than Google Pixel 4 XL, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Y1 also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 128 GB. The Google Pixel 4 XL has better battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a 3700mAh battery size.
Although Google Pixel 4 XL is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Y1. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
